Memorable September

Memorable September, this month reminded me The September 11 attacks in United States, New York City, a world tragedy happened, and unforgettable day to those who lost their loves ones. My sincere sympathy and condolences to those people who have died, been hurt and people who lost their love ones.

And I will moving in to my new house soon in September 11, 2011 really a memorable month, 1 more week to go, but I got the feel it's going to be a very busy and tiring month, really need a 2 hours body massage after that. It’s almost done, but still have a lot of stuff to shop and buy, I wondering why so many things to do, need to call up the fung shui si fu and follow up the final touch up, and moving in all the new electrical appliance and furniture. Really exhausted and i applied 2 days leave to arrange all the stuff, 2 days leave really fully used and scheduled, worth it.

Busy Month

Finally, I thought is almost done, but end up this month is my super busy month, shop for new house furniture, new house appliance, house hold stuff, furnishing, curtain, need to rush for furnishing and renovation touch up, marble polishing and many more. It’s not easy, really not easy at all, so many things and stuff need to do. Beside that, nowadays before purchase anything’s, we need to do survey, research, and comparison of price, quality and service. Wah.. is really tiring, exhausted, and spend all my time, anyway I believe is worth it.

Badminton

Badminton is a racquet sport played by either two opposing players (singles) or two opposing pairs (doubles), who take positions on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net. Players score points by striking a shuttlecock with their racquet so that it passes over the net and lands in their opponents' half of the court. A rally ends once the shuttlecock has struck the ground, and the shuttlecock may only be struck once by each side before it passes over the net.

The shuttlecock or shuttle is a feathered projectile whose unique aerodynamic properties cause it to fly differently from the balls used in most racquet sports; in particular, the feathers create much higher drag, causing the shuttlecock to decelerate more rapidly than a ball. Shuttlecocks have a much higher top speed, when compared to other racquet sports. Because shuttlecock flight is affected by wind, competitive badminton is best played indoors. Badminton is also played outdoors as a casual recreational activity, often as a garden or beach game.

Badminton is one of my childhood activities. When I was in primary school, I always play badminton with my brothers, cousins, neighbor, classmate and friends. When come to secondary school, I seldom play badminton, because other than badminton, there are many other sport activities, such as, netball, volleyball, bowling and etc. When come to college life, i totally didn’t touch my badminton racquet at all. Recently, I touched my badminton racquet, my friends and I planned to play badminton once a week. The purposes of playing badminton are for fitness, keep-fit and as an activity game.

My dancing class

In March 2008, I had registered a Social Dance class at SMASH, Kota Damansara. Social Dance is a major category or classification of danceforms or dance styles, where sociability and socializing are the primary focuses of the dancing. Many social dances are partner dances.

In SMASH, Social Dance class is included Salsa, Cha-cha, Waltz, Rumba, Disco Rock, Foxtrot, O.B. Cha-cha, Rock & Roll and many more. Everyone will have the opportunity to be exposed and experienced to different social dances each month. Every month we will learn a different kind of social dance. As a beginners level, we learned a beginner’s step. In March 2008, I had learned Waltz and it is a ballroom dance. In April 2008, I will learn Rumba and Disco Rock will be in May 2008.

My Social Dance instructor is Bronya Bishorek. Bronya had studied and trained under the prestigious United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dance and National Association of Teachers of Dance, UK emerging with "Highly Commended" results in the fields of Aerobics and Dance (Jazz). Moreover, she has emerged as champions in numerous competitions, International Reebok Aerobic Dance Championship 1986, Finalist and 1987, 1st Runner Up, Latin American Dance Competition 1991 to 1998 Champion, Malaysia Line Dance Championship 2003 Champion, Line Dance Carnival 2004 Champion, and Asian Pacific Dance Championship Overall Champion across four divisions.

Fraser's Hill trip

Before Chinese New Year my cousin and I plan to go somewhere to celebrate Chinese New Year. At first we plan to go Singapore, but too bad not successful. Then we changed our plan to go somewhere which is a bit cold and windy, therefore we decided to go up to the hill, which is Fraser’s Hill. On 10th February 2008 my cousin and I went to Fraser’s Hill. This is my second time visit Fraser’s Hill. I had been long long time didn’t visit Fraser’s Hill.

Fraser's Hill is a hill resort located on the Titiwangsa Ridge in the state of Pahang in Malaysia. Fraser's Hill gets its name from a British colonial adventurer and fortune hunter, which is Louis James Fraser. However, in the early 1900's, Fraser vanished or misplaced without a trace. Fraser's disappearance remains a mystery to this day. In 1917, a couple of clergymen rediscovered Fraser's Hill, and gathered support from the colonial authorities to turn it into a hill station to get away from the unbearable heat of the lowlands. Fraser's Hill is measured at 1,280 meters above sea level. Year round temperatures are between 18-20 degrees Celsius. This resort is situated approximately 104 kilometers from the city of Kuala Lumpur.

Taiwan trip

Taiwan is a very attractive and wonderful island which is located in East Asia. The island is 394 kilometers long and 144 kilometers wide. In December 2007, my friends and I had joined a Taiwan trip, a 7days trip, but we had extended our trip to 11days. During this Taiwan trip, we had visited Taipei, Taoyuan, Yilan, Hualien, Kaohsiung, Taichung, Puli, Sun Moon Lake, Jiufen and etc. Taiwan is governed by the Republic of China (ROC), and Taipei is the largest city of Taiwan. Taipei is the seat of government of the ROC and its center of commerce and culture. Moreover, Taipei is home to the world’s currently tallest skyscraper, which is Taipei 101. The second-largest city of Taiwan is Kaohsiung. Kaohsiung has one of the busiest sea ports in Taiwan, which is the Port of Kaohsiung. Taichung is the third largest city in Taiwan, and has an abundance of interesting cultural amenities and activities. Anyway, Taipei, Kaohsiung and Taichung are the three largest cities in Taiwan.

Moreover, one thing I would like to share is Taiwanese calendar, the Minguo calendar is counting years from the establishment of the ROC 1912. It is commonly used in Taiwan. Therefore don't be too surprised to find dates like "97-02-28" on soft-drinks or bags of chips. ROC 97 is 2008 AD. To convert a Minguo date to A.D., just add 11. Months and days are according to the standard calendar. So don’t misunderstand ya… Taiwan food didn’t expire. Anyway, throughout this Taiwan trip, I really enjoy it. I love to shop at Taiwan. And I love the weather and the environment too. Besides that, during this trip, I had met some new friends, and I had adopted a godmother and a godbrother. Anyway, it is a very amazing and unforgettable trip, I really enjoy this trip and very happy too.

Time passed so fast

Time passed so fast, study and work at the same time, so tiring... But anyway, in November 2007, I had completed my degree, very happy... But I really need some time to relax and enjoy myself... Then only move to the next level, which is the most hectic working world. But too bad, in November 2007, I had started working permanently in my dad company, so sad… But anyway, people said the early bird catch the worm, so we should act early or right now to be successful. If we do something early or before anyone else, I believe in the future, we will have advantages and be successful.

Although, I had started working permanently in my dad company, but luckily I had a wonderful boss (my dad). He is so nice. He allow me to go travel and sponsored my Taiwan trip, 11 days and 10 nights trip… wahaha… so nice right. So people said the early bird catch the worm, yes is true. OMG travel, I love travel. For me, travel is one of the best ways to relax and enjoy myself. So, in December 2007, my friends and I had gone to Taiwan. I really enjoy this Taiwan trip. I miss Taiwan so much. One day, I swear I will go Taiwan again. Hehe…

However, study and travel have been passed. Right now, I work 7 days a week, during weekday I permanently work in my dad company, and during weekend I work in a Beauty Centre. Really hard working right, hehe… people will think that, why work so hard, didn’t work before meh… but anyway I enjoy my weekend job. Everything’s going so fast, especially, time. People said time is money, yes is true, because time passed so fast. If we don’t use our working time to earn money. We are in effect losing our money. Therefore, we should use our time appropriately, so that we won’t lose any profit lor...

My part-time jobs

Currently, I have three different kind of part-time job. I work as a school bus and travel service management, freelance graphic designer and freelance beautician.

My first and the longest part-time job are school bus and travel service management. I use to have a stable part-time job in my dad company. My dad company provides school bus and travel service. I started working as a part-time secretarial and assistance in my dad company since I graduated my form five and until now, I still working in my dad company.

How about freelance graphic designer? Although I’m not a very professional graphic designer, but do I consider a freelance graphic designer? I love graphic design. And I’m interested in graphic design. Few years ago I had designed few business card and poster for my relative business. And last year, I had a group project, my classmate and I created a campaign call Dance Safe. And I designed Dance Safe logo, teaser, ticket, newsletter, registration form, souvenir book and banner. In June 2007, my aunt planned to open a beauty and health center called D’ Esprit. She asked me to help her to design her company logo, banner, buntings, name card, flyers, brochure and voucher, and she will pay me for the design. So do I consider a freelance graphic designer?

Recently, I have another part-time job, and I just started this month. Every weekend, Saturday and Sunday I work as a beautician in D’ Esprit Beauty & Health Esthetic. D’ Esprit provides many different kind of beauty and health service, such as facial treatment, eyelashes perming, embroidery, ear candling treatment, body treatment, waxing, nails, make-up and many more.

Anyway, I had three different kind of part-time job. I work as a school bus and travel service management, because it’s a family business and it’s may become my permanent job once I graduated my degree. How about my freelance graphic designer and beautician, I enjoy doing it, because I’m interested.

My blog

Finally, I have my own blog. This is my first blog and the only blog I have. I’m not a good blogger, and I’m not a good writer. I didn’t own a blog before, but I had read other people blogs. By reading other people blogs, I can gain some useful information, enjoy humorous story, observe personal struggles or personal achievements and so on.

In my opinion, a blog is more than an online journal or writings. Nowadays, blogs are important communication tools. Anyone can blog. There are so many personal blogs and business blogs, or even political blogs can be found from the internet. Moreover, through blogs, we can keep in touch with our friends and family’s.

In my blog, I will express my feeling and my creativity. I will share my thought, my design and my experience. Besides that, I will share some interesting news and useful information. Moreover, I will upload picture and share some interesting image.

Anyway, blog is a wonderful communication tools. Whether you are a writer, a poet, a comedian, a designer or an artist or who ever you are, you will have an outlet through blogging. In fact, blogs make it easier to reach more people. Whether you are a blogger or a blog reader, you are sure to agree, blogs are an enjoyable way to learn about the world around us.
