It’s the season to spring-clean your house, for the Chinese New Year.
Get rid of clutter first. Why clean something, or clean around something, that will only be thrown out sooner rather that later?
Clean from top to bottom. Don’t get your floor all nice and shiny only to realize that your ceiling fan hasn’t been dusted yet, and all that dirt is going to end up back on the floor.
If your place is generally quite clean, a light dusting and some sweeping should suffice.
If you have months of grime to get through with soap and detergent, dust well before wet-wiping or rinsing, to avoid smearing black and grey stains and dripping filthy water everywhere.
If you must leave things very late, just clean the parts of the home that guests will see, like your living room and bathroom.
Heave all the rest of the junk into your own storeroom or bedroom.
Don’t forget the exterior, spruce up your front door, grille gate and walls wit a good wash or even a new coat of paint.
If you have a garden, trim and tidy it.
Give the driveway a scrub too.

Badminton
Badminton is a racquet sport played by either two opposing players (singles) or two opposing pairs (doubles), who take positions on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net. Players score points by striking a shuttlecock with their racquet so that it passes over the net and lands in their opponents' half of the court. A rally ends once the shuttlecock has struck the ground, and the shuttlecock may only be struck once by each side before it passes over the net.
The shuttlecock or shuttle is a feathered projectile whose unique aerodynamic properties cause it to fly differently from the balls used in most racquet sports; in particular, the feathers create much higher drag, causing the shuttlecock to decelerate more rapidly than a ball. Shuttlecocks have a much higher top speed, when compared to other racquet sports. Because shuttlecock flight is affected by wind, competitive badminton is best played indoors. Badminton is also played outdoors as a casual recreational activity, often as a garden or beach game.
Badminton is one of my childhood activities. When I was in primary school, I always play badminton with my brothers, cousins, neighbor, classmate and friends. When come to secondary school, I seldom play badminton, because other than badminton, there are many other sport activities, such as, netball, volleyball, bowling and etc. When come to college life, i totally didn’t touch my badminton racquet at all. Recently, I touched my badminton racquet, my friends and I planned to play badminton once a week. The purposes of playing badminton are for fitness, keep-fit and as an activity game.

Seindah tiada lagi kau ku ingatkan,
Sayang kau hilang,
Menanti biar sampai akhir hayat ku di dunia ini.

Kau tahu bertapa ku sayang padamu,
Hanya bidadari sebagai ganti,
Hanya takdir menentukan ia,
Oh belaian jiwa.
Oh angin, sampaikan lagu ku padanya,
Yang sedih pilu,
Terimalah lagu ku jadi teman hidup mu,
Untuk selamanya.
Repeat #1, #1

Samba
Samba is a lively, rhythmical dance of Brazilian origin in 2/4 time danced under the Samba music. However, there are three steps to every bar, making the Samba feel like a 3/4 timed dance.
The Samba music rhythm has been danced in Brazil since its inception in the late 19th century. There is actually a set of dances, rather than a single dance, that define the Samba dancing scene in Brazil; thus, no one dance can be claimed with certainty as the "original" Samba style. Another major stream of the Samba dance besides the Brazilian Samba dancing styles is Ballroom Samba which differs significantly.
Samba no pé is a solo dance that is most often danced impromptu when samba music is played. The basic movement involves a straight body and a bending of one knee at a time. The feet move very slightly - only a few inches at a time. The rhythm is 2/4, with 3 steps per measure. It can be thought of as a step-ball-change. It can be described calling it and-a-one, and-a-two, then back to one. The basic movement is the same to either side, where one foot moves to the outside lifting up just before the first beat, lifting on the "and-a" and replacing itself on the floor on the one beat (i.e. the right leg moves slightly to the right) and this leg is kept straight. The other foot moves slightly towards the front, and closer to the first foot. The second leg bends slightly at the knee so that the left side of the hip lowers and the right side appears to move higher. The weight is shifted to this inside foot briefly for the next "and-a", then shifted back to the outside foot on the "two", and the same series of actions is repeated towards the other side.
The dance simply follows the beat of the music and can go from average pace to very fast. Men dance with the whole foot on the ground while women, often wearing heels, dance just on the balls of the foot. Professionals may change the steps slightly, taking 4 steps per measure instead of 3, and often add various arm movements depending on the mood of the music.

Rossa - Pudar
Kurasakan pudar dalam hatiku
Rasa cinta yang ada untuk dirimu
Ku lelah dengan semua yang ada
Ingin ku lepas semua
Setan dalam hati ikut bicara
Bagaimana kalau ku selingkuh saja
Ku punya banyak teman lelaki
Sepertinya ku kan bahagia
*(Korus)
Mestinya kau cari pengganti diriku saja
Karena kita sudah tak saling bicara
Pastikan cerita tentang kita yang telah lalu
Hanya ada dalam ingatan hatimu
Maafkan aku jika kau kecewa
Bintangmu bukan lah untuk diriku
Jika memang semua kan jadi cerita
Ku tahu kau semakin terluka
Ulang *(Korus) 1x
Kurasakan pudar dalam hatiku

Man Bai - Kau Ilham Ku
Beribu bintang dilangit,
Kini menghilang,
Meraba aku dalam kelam,
Rembulan mengambang,
Kini makin suram,
Pudar ilhamku tanpa arah.
Sedetik wajahmu muncul,
Dalam diam,
Ada kerdipan ada sinar,
Itukah bintang atau rembulan,
Terima kasih kuucapkan.
#1
Izinkan ku mencuri bayangan wajahmu,
Izinkan ku mencuri khayalan denganmu,
Maafkanlah oh...
Andai lagu ini,
Mengganggu ruangan hidupmu,
Kau senyumlah oh...
Sekadar memori,
Kita di arena ini,
Kau ilhamku,
Kau ilhamku...

Salsa
Salsa refers to a mixture of informal dance styles having roots in the Caribbean, especially in Cuba and North America. The dance originated through the mixture of Mambo, Danzon, Guaguanco, Cuban Son, and other typical Cuban dance forms. Salsa is danced to Salsa music. There is a strong African influence in the music as well as the dance. Salsa is a partner dance, although there are recognized solo steps and some forms are danced in groups of couples, with frequent exchanges of partner. Improvisation and social dancing are important elements of Salsa but it appears as a performance dance too.
The basic step typically uses three steps each measure. This pattern might be quick-quick-slow, taking two beats to gradually transfer the weight, or quick-quick-quick allowing a tap or pause. It is conventional in Salsa for the two musical measures to be considered as one, so the count goes from 1 to 8 over two musical bars. The basic movement common across most Salsa styles is to step quick-quick-slow 2 times over two 4-beat measures. Typically the quick steps are on beats one and two, and the slow step is actually a quick on beat three followed by pause or tap on beat four. That is salsa step right-left-right-pause/tap then left-right-left-pause/tap.
For the lady step
Salsa basic step started with both foot stands together
The basic backward step:
Stepping backward with your right foot (1)
Returning your weight to your left foot (2)
Returning your right foot to where it started (3)
Tap or pause in place with your left foot (4)
The basic forward step:
Stepping forward with your left foot (5)
Returning your weight to your right foot (6)
Returning your left foot to where it started (7)
Tap or pause in place with your right foot (8)

Guidelines for Polite & Effective Telephone Usage
It is important that employee or business people demonstrate courteous telephone behavior when taking to clients and other business contacts. Courtesy and thoughtfulness are the basic components of telephone etiquette. The knowledge of etiquette makes telephoning easier because if you creatively obey the rules, you will be confident that you will behave in the most appropriate and productive way. Here are some guidelines for polite and effective telephone usage for you or employee, especially receptionist or secretary.
1. When answering the phone in the office, immediately identify your company, department and your name.
2. When talking to customers, call them by name. By repeating the name, you are more likely to remember it the next time.
3. Know how you sound to others. You can find this out by recording your voice. Then critique your tone, manners, friendliness and vocal quality.
4. Always use the hold button if you must temporarily leave the phone. It is surprising what the person on the line can hear, and you may inadvertently embarrass yourself or the other person.
5. Excuse yourself when leaving the line. A simple one, “One minute, please, Miss J.” Then make sure you reassure the customer every 20 to 30 seconds that you have not forgotten her. If you must do this more than twice, it is probably better to call back when you are able to talk.
6. Listen. Allow your caller to talk and encourage her input. No one likes to be “talked at”. When pauses occur, don’t interrupt until the caller is finished with her thought. Listen for ideas, not just words, and take brief notes to jog your memory later.
7. Keep a notepad and pen near the phone so you can quickly write messages or notes.
8. Screen calls for the caller’s name by asking: “Who’s calling please?” When transferring a call, say, “Thank you Miss S. I’m ringing Miss J now,” or “Thank you Miss S. Miss J is on another line at the moment. Would you prefer to hold for a minute or would you prefer that Miss J return your call?” If Miss J is unavailable, say, “Thank you. Miss S, Miss J is out of the office now and isn’t expected back till 4 o’clock. Miss R may be able to help you, or would you prefer that Miss J return your call?”
9. Let them hang up first. Have you ever concluded a conversation with someone and just as they were hanging up, you thought of one more things to say? To avoid cutting off the caller’s thoughts, let the caller hang up first.
10. When calling long distance, tell the secretary. People give long distance calls a higher priority than local calls. If she or he says, “Do you mind if I put you on hold?” Be careful. Some people are not in the habit of checking back with the caller every 20 to 30 seconds. Your best bet is to tell the secretary that you can only remain on hold a short time.

Siti Nurhaliza - Seindah Biasa
Jalan pernah takut ku tinggalkan,
Saat bintang tak mampu lagi berdendang,
Saat malam menjadi terlalu dingin,
Hingga pagi tak seindah biasanya.
#1
Takkan mungkin kita bertahan,
Hidup dalam bersendirian,
Panas terit hujan badai,
Kita lalui bersama.
#2
Saat hilang arah tujuan,
Kau tahu ke mana berjalan,
Meski terang meski gelap,
Kita lalui bersama.
Ku tak bisa menrubah yang telah terjadi,
Tapi aku akan menjanjikan yang terbaik,
Agar kita tak pernah menjadi jadi,
Meski beza dermaga untuk kita berlabuh.
Repeat #1, #2
Pernah kita jatuh,
Mencuba berdiri,
Menahan saki dan menangis,
Tapi erti hidup lebih dari itu,
Dan kita mencuba melawan.

ABBA or S Club 7 - Dancing queen
You can dance, you can jive
Having the time of your live
See that girl, watch that scene
Dig in the dancing queen
Friday night and the lights are low
Looking out for a place to go
We're they play the right music, getting in the swing
You've come to look for a king
Anybody could be that guy
Night is young and the music's high
With a bit of rock music, everything is fine
You're in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance
You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing queen, feel the beat from the tambourine, oh yeah
You can dance, you can jive
Having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene
Dig in the dancing queen
You're a teaser, you turn 'em on
Leave 'em burnin and then you're gone
Lookin' out for an other, anyone will do
You're in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance
You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing queen, feel the beat from the tambourine, oh yeah
You can dance, you can jive

Dig in the dancing queen

Lillix - It's About Time
I hate you, I love you
I just can't remember to forget you
Who are you, who needs you?
You make me feel alive, I die, so high
I'm crawling on the ground
I have found I can fly
One of these days it all comes together
One of those days that goes on forever
Think I sound crazy? Maybe, whatever
What's it all about?
(Chorus)
It's about life, it's about fun
It's over before it has begun
It's about you, it's about me
It's about everything between and I say
I'm saying goodbye to you, I say hi to you with no clue
It's about time that I
Make up my mind
It's simple, confusing, the truth is I'm winning but I'm losing
And pulling and pushing, won't do me any good
It could, it should
I'm honest to myself that the truth is I lied
One of these days it all comes together
One of those days that goes on forever
Think I sound crazy? Maybe, whatever
What's it all about?
(Chorus)
Time is creeping behind me, surrounding around me
Fading the words so desperately
Now give me a reason that I can believe in
Time is something you can't rewind
One of these days it all comes together
One of those days that goes on forever
Think I sound crazy? Maybe, whatever
What's it all about?
(Chorus)
I just can't remember to forget you
Who are you, who needs you?
You make me feel alive, I die, so high

Make a Good Impression for a Job Interview
Be professional
On the day of your interview, arrive on time and dress professionally. Even if the company has a casual work environment, your first appearance should always be formal. Always keep your demeanor or manner professional regardless of how the interview plays out and whether you are offered employment.
Take your time
Pause to think through a question before responding. Remember, your time is just as important as the interviewer’s. Even though you should try to answer as promptly and directly as possible, it is important that you provide meaningful answers to each question.
Act with grace
While this may sound like simple advice, remembering to say “thank you”, shaking hands, maintaining good eye contact and giving a warm smile are all necessary to portray a positive work attitude. Be polite towards every person you encounter or meet. While making a great impression during the interview is important, your top priority should be projecting yourself as a true professional who would be an asset or benefit to any employer.

How to Clean Silver
Silver accessories add a more distinguished touch when entertaining. That is, unless they are covered in unsightly tarnish.
1. Cover the bottom of the pan with aluminum foil.
2. Arrange the silver pieces on the foil so they're all touching the foil.
3. Heat some water, enough to cover the silver pieces. Add a small amount of salt.
4. Add a cup of baking soda to the hot salt water solution.
5. Pour the solution over the silver pieces.
6. Soak the silver in the solution for 30 minutes.
7. Remover the silver pieces and buffs them dry with a soft cloth.
